WELLINGTON, July 31
This afternoon the Speaker of the House of Representatives received formal notification that the death of Mr T. E. TayJor, laic member for Christehurch North, had been registered.
The House will bo asked to-ruorrow owning to pa« a resolution, ordering tho iasuo of a warrant to tho Clerk of Writs for an election. The writ will bo returnable within 21 days, and as a week must be allowed for a possible second ba.'lot, tho dato of tho election must be about a fortnight hence.
