OPPOSED TO WAR
(Received July 31st, 9.60 p.m.) BERLIN. July 31. Commenting on and welcoming the demonstration of French trade unionists and Socialists, when they pledged thomsclves to do all in their power to prevent tho crisis ending in hostilities, the Socialist newspaper "Vorwaerts" declares that German workmen will show that international solidarity is not an empty plirase.
