She calls first at Dunedin. Tho vessel haa 28,000 cases of oil for Lyttelton. Tho steamer Walkure aaaled from New York on July Ist, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Lyttelton about the end of September, and will diecbarge about 26,000 cases of oil- . , . , _ The Kamona will finish discharging about Saturday, and will then proceed to Westport to load Admiralty coal for Thursday Island. Mr W. Moody, late iourth engineer of tbe Kutow, and Mr Wills, fourth of the Maori, have exchanged positions. While Sydney recently, Iho Koromiko put 2000 tons of bunker oaal into H.M.S. Powerful in 11 working hours. This & said to be an Australasian record. The Mocraki is due at Wellington this morning from Sydney direct with 140 passengers. She will arrive at Lyttelton on Friday morning, and will leave the same day for Dunedin, Bluff, Hobart, and Melbourne, on arrival of the 2.45 p.m. train, steamer Orari, from London direct, is due at Dunedin about Friday or Saturday, and is expected to arrive at Lyttelton about the end of tho montli. Captain H. -Patarson is acting aa coastal pilot on board the Italian barque Erminia, which left Port Chalmers on Monday for Lyttelton.
