NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The Mayor will explain the roadsscheme in the St- Albans Library, Dover street, this evening. Demonstrations of psychometry will be given by Mrs Wilson at the Spiritualists' Church, Worcester street, to-night. The Swiss village fair will be hold in the Alexandra and Victoria Halls, on August Ist. 2nd, and 3rd. The Malvern ploughing match and dog trials will be held at Mr J. G-iflanders's farm, *'Pinegrove," Waddington, on August 3rd. Entries close on the 26th inst. ■ The Rev. ■* Josiah Ward, of Wellington, will commence a special mission tonight in the Cambridge Terrace Primitive Methodist Church.
