• — At the lost mcetins of the Adding- ; ton School Committee the headmaster's report showed 669 on the roll, with an average attendance of 606. The halfyearly report on the junior cadets was , received "and considered very satisfactory, special mention being made of the fact that Bugler Penrose had been suci oessful in winning a gold medal for i j bugling. The number of cadets en- ■ I rolled is now 98. The Education De- j partment wrote stating their intention ' !to erect a fence on the south-enst corner of the school grounds, provided the ' adjoining rroperty owners would con- | ) tribute a half share of its cost. Ar- ! rangemente were discussed in connection with getting the gas laid on to ' the school, and rt was eventually decided to approach the residents in the vicinity of tfto school and secure sufficient users to enable the Gas Company . to lay the mains.
