A CONCILIATION COUNCIL "BREEZE."
(press association iecegham.l WELLINGTON. July 18. There was much bickering at_ the sitting of the Conciliation Council in the furniture dispute and no progress was made. Mr Moriarty, tho Union secretary, objected to giving reasons for desiring a new award, and ho had an altercation with Mr P. Hally, tho chairman, who told him to speak the truth while there.
Mr Moriarty said: "1 don't want any of that from you." Mr Hally replied: "If you don't want it, there is the door; you can 'get' as you did before." Mr Moriarty: "I didii't 'get' before; we were ordered away." Mr Hally: ''Your action has alienated whatever sympathy I have had for tho Union; I can do no more for you."
