LODGE MEETINGS.
The fortnightly meeting of Loyal Riccarton Lodge, M.A., was held on Thursday, N.G. Bro. J. Holmes presiding over a large attendance. The sick visitors reported that there was no sickness among the members. One new member.was initiated and two proposed. Tlie social in honour of the opening of the new hall was held on the Friday, taking the form of a progressive euchre tournament and dance, and" was in every way a success.
The Cambridge terrace Band of Hope held their usual monthly meeting on Thursday evening, Mr R. Hoppv being in the chair. There was a good "attendance present, and a first-class programme of action songs, recitations, vocal solos, and readings, -was carried out.
