ROAD BOARDS.
WEST EYRETON
At the monthly meeting of the West Eyreton Road Board, held on Monday, ttiero were present: Messrs John Smith (chairman), F. G. Horrell. and H. J. Horreli. it was resolved that £60 be voted towards the erection of a Public Swimming Bath, as a permanent memorial of the Coronation, that steps bo taken to secure tho Government subsidy thereon, and that £5 bo voted towards illuminations on the night of June tho 22nd. The Board resolved that tho reserve No. 2462 bo planted this season with Austrian pines. TheClerk was instructed to write to the district railway engineer, drawing his attention to tho state of the pipes across tho school road, thereby causing the flooding of the school grounds. Mr W. J. Thompson waited on tho Board in respect of reservo 1293, and was informed that if the Board decided to Jet it, he would l>o informed of the Board's intention to do so. The following tenders were accepted for lease of reserves for 14 years, from July Ist, 1911, to July Ist, IB2.J:—liescrve No. 1025—i2 acres, I?. Reid, £1 ncr acre; No. 3p6— 20 acres, H. Mclvibbin, 12s per aero; No. 364—10 acres, P. O'Connor, £1 4s per acre : No 1291—5 acres, W. Storer, 12s per aero; No. 1321 — i acres, E. Pester, Os per acre.
