CAPETOWN, May 23.
Mr Lewis, a leading resident of Bulawayo, went to a newspaper office, and caused tho native newsboys to be paraded./ He identified one, and accused liim of indecent overtures towards his girls. Lewis took the native to some vacant ground behind the office, shot him dead, and then, surrendered to tho police. Ho was charged with murder, but was subsequently released on bail, fixed at £3000. Public opinion is entirely with Mr Lewis in his action.
