MINING.
THE WAIHI MINE. INTRODUCTION OF CO-OPERATIVE SYSTEM. At a special meeting of the Waihi Miner*' Union, held on Saturday night, a resolution in favour of the introduction of tie cooperative system, as recommended by the executive, in regard to the working of jobs taken under the present tender system, waa carried unanimously, and it was resolved: "That the new system come into operation one menth hence."
