KAIAPOI.
A final meeting of the Kaiapoi Territorial bazaar committee was held on Tuesday evening, Mr E. B. Papprill in the chair. The balance-sheet showed total recipts £293 5s lid. The expenses had been £77 3s lid, leaving a return of £216 2s, which was considered to be very satisfactory. Votes of thanks were passed to all who had contributed and assisted in the sales, etc. The, secretary, Mr J. G. Yellowlees, was complimented for his efforts and asked to accept an honorarium of five guineas. Cordial thamks were voted to the executive committee. After paying for improvements and additions to the Drill Hall, about £35 will bo available for finishing one of the rooms in a better- style than was intended.
