THURSDAY COMPETITIONS,
Tho Thursday Competitions wero held yesterday afternoon. Although a heavy shower_fell early in the afternoon, nevertheless all matches wero played. The results aro as follows :— FIRST GRADE. St. Luke's defeated Sydenham by 2 goals shot by G. Pierce to 1 shot by W. Harrington. Mr L. Cusworth was referee. Hardware drew with Draper, each side scoring 1 goal. Ball scorefl for Hardware, as did Pratt for Drapers. Mr W. Shepherd was referee. Lyttelton had a bye. SECOND GRADE. Drapers drew with Oxford Terrace Baptist, each side scoring 4 goals. Morton, Francis, Browning, and Stillwell scored for Drapers, as did Drayton (3) and Ford for Oxford Terraoe Baptists. Mr Riches was referee. THIRD GRADE. Drapers defeated Lyttelton by o goals shot by Wylie (3), Nunnerly and Francis, to 2 shot by Pitcaithly and Dennis. Mr E. Green was referee. NEW ZEALAND LADIES' ASSOCIATION. (NtESS ASSOCIATION TELKSRAM.) WELLINGTON. April 27. Tho annual meeting of the Now Zealand Ladies' Hockey Association was held tonight. It was decided to reduce tho number of the Management Committee from seven to five, and tho quorum from fivo to three. A motion recommending that the incoming committee should refuse any applications from associations to form subassociations was withdrawn, tho chairman ruling that the New Zealand Association at present had no jurisdiction to dictate to associations on this matter. An invitation waa received from the Canterbury Association that the 1912 Championship Tourney bo acid at Chriatchurch. BIBLE CLASS CLUB. The following team* will represent the Bible Class Club to-morrow:— Juniors v. Sydenham B, at Sydenham Park —Pottinger, Calvert, McDonald, Joe, MoKay, Napier, McWhirter, McLeod, Easton, F. Reid, G.
