PRESENTATION TO KING GEORGE.
♦ (raiSS ASSOCIATION" TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, April 27. A movement is on foot in various parts of tho British Empire to make a Coronation gift to King George V. from thoso of his subjects who are blessed with the same Christian name as bo bears. His Excellency the Governor proposes that a fund should bo opened for the receipt of contributions from the New Zealand Georges. It is expected that arrangements will be made to open special accounts in the towns throughout tho Dominion, so that contributions can bo paid in, in timo for the fund to bo available by Jane Ist.
