SYDENHAM PICTURES.
The popular programmo shown at the Sydenham Empire last night was much' enjoyed by the large audience present. The drama "Clown nnd the .Minister" was received With unusual rounds of applause. It is most pathetic and a picture of an uncommon class, and appealed very strongly to the audience. The scenic subject "Across tho Isthmus" proved exceedingly interesting _nd "Customs and Religions of Burmah" -was a beautiful coloured number. The comic films were irresistible and highly amusing. The same programme will lie shown to-night.
