CLUB CRICKET.
TO XIHS EDITOR OF "THB PRESS." • Sir, —I note "with surprise that the Cricket Association »Te charging a shilling admittance to tho cricket match, St. Albans v. Sydenham, at Lancaster Park. How ridiculous. I have often heard tho remark that cricket here is not going ahead, ns the public ■■■will not give their support. Can you expect them to give their support whan they are-treated like this? The Rugby Union would not think of charging more than 6d for any club match, and this amount is quite sufficient. I think ■ the Cricket Association ai« making a crave mistake, as the public aro more interested in tho noble game at the present time than ever before (thanks to our representatives bringing the .Shield here), and they should strive to keep them interested, as they badly neeo their support. Trusting the Association will wake up and look ahead. —Tours, etc., DISGUSTED.
