A meeting; of the Oxford Ladie*' . Hockey Club n-ill he held in the Oxford Library on Monday, March.27th, at 7.30 p.m. Tho Woolston Band will play at New Brighton to-morrow afternoon. The Malrern County Council elections will take place on April-4th, nominations closing on March 23th. An examination for the licensing of plumbers will bo conducted at the-i Technical College on Saturday, April 29fch, and Wednesday, May 3rd. Large entries hivo been received - for the Axemen's Ciirniral, to be held at Kaiapoi on Easteir Monday, and thy fixture promises to be inostisucceesfal.
