PROTECTION OF TRADE ROUTES.
United Press Electrio Telegraph—Copy right. CAPETOWN. March 23. The "Cape Times," commenting on Mr MacKenna's assurance of the sufficiency of cruisers to protect the trade routes, complains of their remarkable fewness on the Cape route, and says that further protection is urgently required.
