GERALDINE STOCK MARKET.

The fortnightly salo at Geraldine on Wednesday attracted another large entry, about 18,000 sheep being yarded. There was ■■ rood attendance of buyers, .and considering tho dry weather pikes were well maintained, the bulk of the stores offered bein__ cleared at lato rates. Owing to the block at the iieezing works, f-'ts went down hs to Is Od v head. Fat lambs realised from 10s Id to 13s -id, fat ewes 7s Id to lis -Id, ami fat wethers lis lid to His. There was a good demand for breeding ewes. Two-tooth ewes brought l'2s, 14s Sd, los lid to His 8d; six and Ugnttooth, 10s 7d, 13s, 13s Gd and lis 8d ; a line of sound-mouth three-cjuarter-hied ewes sold ,it 12.s 8d ; full-month ewes, 7s, Bs, S.s !Jd, 10s Gd nnd 13s; lambs (mixed sexes) made os 3d and 7s 7d; ewe In nibs S>« Od, 10s, 10s -Id and 10s Sd; wether lambs, 7s Gd. Cull lambs sold from -Is 8d to (is 'kl, -and mil ewes from ls to -Is. A few rams were on sale, and brought fair prices. An K.L. three-shear ram sold at one guinea. Old rams found buyers at Is (kl, 7s Gd and lis. There was a small entry of pigs. Weancrs 3s, os, Gs i)d, fs Gd, 10s; .stores, 13s.
