CHRISTCHURCH SHEEP DOG TRIAL CLUB.
The fourteenth annual meeting of the Christchurch Sheep Dog Trial Club was held at Tattersali's Hotel on Wednesday evening, when there were present: —Mr C. P. Hugonin (in the chair), Capt. McLean, and Messrs H ! . Edbrooke, J. Sutherland, R. M. D. Morten, H. T. Little, W. W. Morton, W. G. Brorra, L. McKinnon ' (Hawked Bay), and E. Hardcastle. An apology was received for the absence of Mr L>. Mann. It was resolved to send a letter of condolence to the widow anc family of the late Mr F. A.' Archer, who was one of the original members of the club, and for a number of yearhad been chairman of the committeeRegret was also expressed at the death of Mr Geo. Bisset, one of the founders, a life member, and vice-president of the club. Tlie annual balance-sheet was adopted as satisfactory. The dates of the annual trials were fixed for May 25th, 26th, and 27th. The incoming president of the Canterbury A. and P. Association was elected president of the club for the ensuing year. Messrs A. Todd. T. Johnston, C. H. Ensor, H. S. E Abbdav. John Parkinson, F. Hubbard, J. ~C. C. Gebbie, and H. A. Knight were added to the list of vicepresidents. Messrs W. 0. Eutherford (hon. judge), W. W. Morton (hon. treasurer), and E. Hardcastle (hon. secretary) were re-elected. The timekeepers "were re-elected, with the addition of Mr R. M. D. Morten. Tho flag stewards were also re-elected, and Messrs W. D. Stewart, I>. Mann, and "W. G. Brown were elected on the committee. The chairman and Messrs Little, Stewart and Morton were elected a Sheep Committee, and the chairman reported what had been done in regard to securing sheep for th© nexi trials.' Mr Hugonin was elected chairman of th© committee in the place of the lata ill _•£-&£.•
