ELECTRICITY FOR BOMBAY MILLS. United Press Association— By Electrio TelegTaph—Copyright. (Received February 9th, 9.55 p.m.) BOMBAY, February 9. Sir George Sydenham Clarke, Governor of Bombay, laid the foundation stone of _reat hydro-electrical works, which will dam valleys in tho Ghats. Tho dams will bo 8900 feet in length, and in somo places seventy feet high. They will create lakes covering 2251 acres, transmitting 40,000 horse-power to the Bombay cotton mills, a distance of 43 miles.
