A general meeting cf the Rcss Go'dfieldi*, Ltd.. called by the liquidator to consider proposals to reconstruct the company, waa held to-day. Shareholders representing in person and by proxy nearly 35»0('0 shares were present." The Auckland shareholders were represented by M-c'srs Nathan, Knight and Bate. The liquidator, Mr H. D. Vickery, was in the chair. After a discussion it was resolved that tho schem-e of reconstruction suggested by the liquidator, namely, that shares in tho new corapany be issued at 12s Od paid up, and with: a "liability cf 7s Gd per share, bo approved. Mi l Davies, representing certain Christchurch shareholders, suggested that the directors should be in one centre, where they could meet regularly.
