Mr W. Tattersall estimates that 73 Lancashire spinners, with a capital o! £2.563.716, whose factories contain 5.973.190 spindles, made an average loss ot 10.28 per cent, for tho year ended November, 1910, compared with 7.73 for 1909. There has been a distinct improvement during the last three months, and the spinners are now working at a profit.
