MILITARY APPOINTMENTS

MELBOURNE, December 7
The following appointments havo been made to the staff of the Military College:—Director of Military Art, Major C. W. Gwynne, Royal Engineers, with a salary of £800; Director of Drill, Major MacLogan, Yorkshire Regiment, £700; Instructor in Mounted Drill, Lieutenant Lloyd, of the Reserve, late riding-master of the Royal Field Artillery, £400; Professor of Mathematics, Mr R. BarnaVd, Melbourne University; Professor of English, Mr V. Miles, Sydney High School; Professor of Physical Science, Mr R. Hosking, Sydney Grammar School, at £500 each.
