The general committee of the A. and P. Association had before them yesterday a very satisfactory document, in the shape of tho balance-sheet in connection with the recent show. With a

credit balance of £811, the committee will no doubt feel encouraged to go on with some of tho extensions and

improvements in various features oi the show, which experience has shown to be desirable, and in some cases ncctrssary. criticism was not fair it was time for them to criticise the Press. It is not quite clear why he should have thought fit to- comment on tho newspapers' business arrangements in connection with one department of the Show, because we ventured to suggestthat tho management of another feature might be improved.
