There are Three Stations on tho Extension, vie.:—Avoca, i Craigioburn, and Cass. Avoca and Craigieburi; will be Flag Stations, but there will be an officer in charge at Cass. '___. The following TIME-TABLE ALTERATIONS will operate from 12th DECEMBER: The Morning Train for Springfield and Whitecliffs will start from Christc_urch at 8.30 a.m., Rolleston 9.13, Kirwee 9.45, Darfield 10.2, Sheffield 10.29, arriving Springfield 10.47 a.m., and Whitecliffs 11.3 a.m. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, it will run through to Cass, arriving Cass 12.30 p.m. It will pick up at Addington and Hornby passengers for stations on Midland and Whitecliffs Branches. Passengers from other stations up to Weedons inclusive must travel to Rolleston by the 8.10 a.m., ChristchurchAshburton Train. The 3.55 p.m. Tram, Christchurch to Springfield and Whitecliffs (to Otaraina on Saturdays) will leave Rolleston at 4.55 p.m. and run thence 10 minutes earlier than at present The Evening Train Christchurch to Springfield on Wednesdays I will start at 5.10 p.m. and leave Addington 5.18 p.m., Hornbv 5.35, Templeton 5.48, Rolleston 6.12, Kirwee 6.48, Darfield 7.17, Sheffield 7.17. arriving Springfield 8.7 p.m. and [ Whitecliffs 8.14 p.m. Tae Morning Train from Springfield will start at 7.15 a.m. (on Saturdays it will start from Otarama at 6.55 a.m.) and run •10 minutes earlier than at present to Rolleston. It will leave Rolleston at 8.52 a.m., and arrive Christchurch 9,45 a.m. The Morning Train from Whitecliffs I will start at 6.55 a.m. and run 10 rrdnutcs j earlier than at present. Tho Afternoon [Train from Springfield will start at 4,5 p.m.. and run 10 minutes ' earlier than at present to Rolleston. It will leave Rolleston at 5.4S p.m., and arrive Christchurch at 6.40 p.m. The Afternoon Train from Whitecliffs will start at 3.45 p.m. and run 10 minutes earlier than at present. A Train will leave Cass for Christch—•__ on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (after arrival of coaches from West Coast) and arrive Christchurch 8.25 p.m. It will stop to pick up or set down passengers up to Springfield and at Sheffield, Darfield, and Rolleston. The 3.40 p.m. Train, Ashburton to Christchurch, after leaving Rolleston, will stop only to set down passengers. 3503 BY ORDER. NEW~ZEALAND RAILWAYS.
