WHEAT AND FLOUR. LONDON, December 5
Wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is estimated at 2,440,000 quarters, and for the Continent at 2,250,000 quarters. Atlantic shipments are estimated at 154,000 quarters, and Pacific at 80,000 quarters, making a total to Europe of 1,300,000 quarters, including 101,000 quarters from the Argentine, 485,000 quarters from Russia, 200,000 quarters from" the Danubian States, 124,000 quarters from India, and 31,000 quarters from Australasia. WOOL. At the wool sales prices for merinos are unchanged. There is a slight irregularity in crossbreds. METALS.
Silver—2s 2d 5-16 d. Waihi shares are quoted at from £5 18s 9d to £6 Is 3d.
