AKAROA CLUB.
A meeting for the purpose of forming a cricket club in Akaroa was held in the Borough Council chambers, the Mayor presiding. It was resolved that a club be formed, and the following officers were selected:—Patron. Mr R. H. Rhodes, M.P.; president, Mr G. Armstrong' vice-presidents, Messrs F. J. Hill, J. H. Williams, E. E.
