WHALING IN THE ARCTIC,
United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. OTTAWA, December 4. Five hundred prairie farmers, representing Western Canada, are visiting Ottawa on December 16th to urge tlie lowering of duties on imported agricultural necessities.
A Blue Book dealing with the NorthWest Mounted Police alludes to the recent establishment of a Canadian whaling company in, tho Arctic. Hopes are expressed that Canada will be able to undersell the United States, which hitherto has had a monopoly in tho Arctic.
