SHEFFIELD MARKET.
On Friday, at the Sheffield Bale, there was nn entry of 1000 slieep and lambs, only 70 of which were in , the fat pens; lambs accounting for 00. The stores were crossbred ewes with lambs at foot, the bulk being unshorn. There was a moderate attendance, but excepting for the few fats which sold well, competition was dull sind dragging, the btllk beinij riassed at auction, but a good clearance was effected privately afterwards. Fr.t lambs brought 15s Hd, fat crossbred wethers (shorn) Kis Bd, fut crossbred ewes (shorn) 12s 7d, in the wool 17s Gd, shorn crossbred owes (mixed ages) with lambs 7s, all counted; woolly ewes (mixed ages) and lambs 9s 6d, nil counted. Jn the cattle yards 25 head of cattle were penned. There was a dull sale. Fat cows sold up to £0 I7s 6d, yearlings to fifteenmonth cattle 445, cows in milk to £7 2s 6d,
