Mr Coiner, who hs/i • ■ classified the, land, wae there by re* -■ quest, and defended his claesificfttioas, with one exception- 'Witii regard to the complaint regarding higher rates, the Chairman stated that owing to ibti dredge loan being exhausted the expense of dredging was beisg met on* of rates, which accomrte for the iacrease. It was intended to disoontmue * dredging in a month or two* in vrhioh case th© rates would be lower. The " matter of agreement' for arbitration. -i was deferred until next meeting.
