RICCARTON v. WEST CHRISTCHURCH.

Ricearton were in a strong position on resuming on Saturday at Hagiey Park, for in reply to West Christchureh's 194, they had made 120 for the loss of onlyone wicket. Most of the batemen eoored freely, and with nine wickets down for 328, the innings was declared closed. West Christchurch played out time, Ricearton thns getting a win on the first innings.
