BOWLING.

CHBISTCHUECH CLUB; On Saturday it was Ladies' Day on the Christchurcli Club's green, and a large number of ladies attended. _ The visitors were received by the President (Mr W. H. Macdougall), and Miss Macdougall. The weather w»s perfect, and tho ladies evidently enjoyed looking on at tho rink games, which were very keenly contested. The President had made very complete preparations for the entertainment of the visitors. Afternoon tea was dispensed, and an orchestra contributed a number of selections. The extra attraction was a Sno rink match with the Wellington Club. The visitors had sent down a fairly strong combination, and they mado a very good game, though victory rested with Christchurch. Tie following were tbe acorea:— Wellington: Focke, Skinner, D. McLean, Hamilton (skip) 22. Christchurch: JJowe, Elliott, Clark, Gurney (skip) 23. Wellington: Torput, Bisnop, Russell. Haybittle (skip) 14. Christchnrch: Mosley, Daniels, Fineaa, Davies (skip) 34. Wellington: Kinvig, Wylie, Berry, McLean (skip) 16. Christchurch: Smith, Tlicrmas, Helliwell. Maddison (akip) 31. Wellington: Gcorgich. . Gihner, Veitch, Moult (skip) 12. Christchnrch: Minson, Manning, Bowley, Hardie (skip) 20. Wellington: Glendintng. lieelie, Remington, Churchward (akip) 20. Christchurch: Bunting, Barnett, Seager, Wood (skip) 18. Total*: Wellington 84, Christchurch 126. At the conclusion of the game the toaat of "'The Visitors" was heartily honoured, and tie Wellington bo<vlere expressed their unbounded appreciation of tho kindness they had experienced from their Christchurcii friends. ST. ALBANS. On the St. Alb&ns green on Saturday a rink, consisting of W. Brice, C. A. Cunningham, G. Livingston, and H. J. Raphael (skip), played the holders of the Club Badges, K. Sneddon. W. E. Mills, D. E. Wood, and W. Henley (skip). The game resulted in a victory for the holders by 32 to 24.
