Letter mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations : — ■ Mails per express to Dnnedin and South close daily at 7 am. and 11.10 a.m.; late fee (i.e., letters bearing Id additlional stamp), 11.25 a.m.; also mail van up to 8 a.m., and guard's van, 11.55 a.m. train. Books and newspapers, 7 a.m. and 10.10 a.m. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3. For Australian States (due Melbourne December 10th), per express to connect with. Warrimoo, at 11.10 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.25 a.m.; guard's van, 11.55 a.m. train. For Dunodin and Invercargill, aleo Australian States, per Victoria, to connect with Warrimoo, at 7.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 7.35 p.m.; guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. For Northern Ports end Weetport, per Maori, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard's van, 7.40 p.m. train; also, per Hauroto, at 7.20 p.m.; lato fee letters, 7.35 p.m.; guard'e van, 9.15 p.m. train. MONDAY, DECEMBER 5. For Northern Ports and Weatport, per Mararoa, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard's van, 7.40 pm. train. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8. For Australian States, etc. (due Sydney December 13th), India, China, Ceylon, Hongr Kong, Straits Settlements, South Africa, etc., aleo Continent of Europe and United Kingdom (due London, January 14th, 1911), vi» Naples, per Maori, to connect with Moeraki, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard's van, 7.40 p.m. train; money orders, 4 p.m.; registered articles, 6 p.m.; book packets and newspapers, 5.45 p.m. train. Mails from the United Kingdom, etc., via Brindisi, which left London on October 28th, are due in Christchurch ac follows:—Letter portion December 6th, at 9 a.m., via Auckland; newspaper, 5.30 p.m., via the Bluff. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Atua, cloee at Auckland on December 6th, at 8.45 p.m. On and after Monday, December 12th, 1910, mails for the West Coast will close at the Chief Post Offico on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, at 7.30 a.m., and the maile from the Coast will arrive at Christchurch on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 8.40 p.m.
