(rRKS3 ASSOCIATION TELKGRAM.) DUNEDIN, T>ecember 2. The thirty-fifth annual report of the Union Steam Snip Company states that after making provision for depreciation on plant, the neb profit for the year, including intt'rest on investments and transfer fees, amounted to £75,086. Adding the bnlanco from Inst year (£14.729), the total is £89,815. After deducting interest on debentures, interim dividend, and auditors' fees, there is left £51.307. The directors recommend the payment of a dividend at the rate of 9£d per share, on 80,000 shares, for the six months ended September 30th. making a total of Is 7d per share for the year. This will absorb £31,666, leaving £19,610 to bo carried fonvard. The directors also recommend that a bonus of per share be paid out of the insurance fund. This will absorb £8333, leaving £441,463 to credit of the fund.
