PROHIBITION OF OPIUM.
CIGARETTES NOT IN THE SAME CATEGORY. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. VANCOUVER, December 1. Mr Mackenzie King, the Minister of Labour, has introduced a Bill to prohibit the importation, the manufacture, and the sale of opium. A suggestion that the Bill should include the prohibition of cigarettes was not considered by the Prime Minister.
