FIRES.
On Wednesday evening, tho sixrcomed dwelling and dairy, owned and •occupied by Mr Sidney A. Ashton. 181 Wilderness r-cad, Snreydon, was totally destroyed by fire. ilr'Ashton left honw at 4 p.m., and on returning at 7 p.m. found the place in ruins. He cannot say how the lire could have started. The huildms ivns insured for £300. end the contents* for £40, with the Phoenix Assurance Company.
