The Rev D. C. Bates's weather summary and forecast, issued at Wellington at 5 p.m. yesterday, were as follow:—Tho weather has been vcrv warm and hazy everywhere. Clou3y and unsettled conditions have been 1 experienced in both tho extreme North and South. Kain has fallen in the fur North, with easterly winds, strong to gale. Mode- j rato to strong northerly and westerly winds I have prevailed elsewhere, with a falling | barometer everywhere. Present indications are for heavy rain and flooded livers in the far North, increasing humidity and cloudiness will probably be followed by general rain within the next three days. Tho barometer will probably fall everywhere, Strong easterly and northerly winds will prevail. The minfall on "Cren Lea," Carew, for the mouth of November totalled 2.97 in, ram falling on nine days. Others falls were: — On the 14th and 15tb, when I.Blin and .79in fell respectively.
