From an excellent send-off, Aunt Sally was quickest to show out, and turning out of tho straight she had Armamento andPuaka as her nearest attendants. Running along the back Aunt Sally had three lengths lead of Puaka, who was followed by Armamento and Martine, with Grand Slam last. Thero was little change in the order till the top turn was rounded, where Martine took third place, and Grand Slam improved his position. From this out Aunt Sally had matters all her own way, winning by two lengths from Puaka, who was a similar distance in front of Martine. Then camo Grand Slam and Gold Braid. Time, lmin 4Ssec.
