MUTINY AT MACAO.

SAILORS AND SOLDIERS OUT OE HAND. MACAO, November 30. A party of sailors landed from the Portuguese gunboat hero and, joined by the soldiers, marched to Government House and demanded increased pay, the expulsion of the religious orders, and the suppression of a local newspaper. Tho two latter requests were complied with. Macao is situated on an island at the mouth of the Canton river, opposite to Hong Kong. The city is divided into two wards, under separate administrators, one being inhabited by Chineseand the other by non-Chinese. Its population consist, of 3780 Portuguese, .0,057 Chinese, and 154.000 of various nationalities. Thero is a military force of 488 men, of which 164 aro natives. Chinese control tho trade.
