SLANDER ON THE REFORM PARTY RESENTED. (special to "the tress."i WELLINGTON, December 1. At a meeting of tho Wellington branch of the Political Reform League, held to-night, the following resolution was passed unanimously :—"That this meeting expresses its deep sympathy with Mr Massey and the members of the Reform Party in Parliament, in the scurrilous and underhand attempt made by innuendo and inference to fasten on them some share of responsibility for the publication of the Black pamphlet * that the members of the League feel in faco of the facts disclosed during the discussion in Parliament as to the authorship of this publication that the aspersions sought to be cast on the Reform Party are wholly contemptible and cowardly, and without the slightest warrant or justification."
