The birds were liberated at 4 a.m. in fino weather, with a light north-west breeze. The winner proved to be Air E. Howe's Wanstead Queen, which traversed the distance of 3_> miles 12G3 yards air line, in 9hr 47min 17i.ee. In connection with tho same race, the special nominated single bird prize waa won by _tr F.
