Bates's weather summary and forecast, issued at Wellington at 5 p.m. yesterday, were as follow:—xho weather baa been fine and very warm in all parts of the Dominion. Easterly winds have prevailed over the North Island, and gales are reported fhia evening in tho farthest North. A northerly galo is reported at Kaikoura, but in other parts of the South Island the wsnds are etill moderate.
