KAIKOURA SAILS FOR LONDON. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's bif? Bteanior Kailrourn, tho first vc&sel to icavo Lyttelton this season direct for London, sailed on Saturday afternoon. The vessel completed loading and coaling and left, tho v.'harf iii tho morning to ajichor in tho titream. Owing to tho parting of tho c.'iMo the Kaikoura lost one of hor anchors and nbout 30 fathcras of cable in the outer harbour. Tho services of a diver from 11.M.5. Cambrian, which v.as lying out in tho stream, were secured, and tho anchor and cable were recovered during tho afternoon. At four o'clock tho bis steamer got under weigh, and started on tho lonjr Homeward pissage-, overtaking tho Hjrra Nova a few miles off shore.
