TELEGRAM FROM THE PRIME MINISTER
The chairman of the Lyttelton Harbour Hoard (Mr H. Friedlander) received the following telegram fuom the Jit. Hon. the Prime Minister (Sir J G. \\ ard): -—"Lady Ward and 1 regret exceedingly that we are unable to accept the kind invitation of yourself and the members of the Lyttelton Harbour Board to witness the departure of the ■lerrti Nova from the tug boat Canterbury. \\© join with you all in wish"Jβ thf. Expedition ' God speed.'—J. G .\\ard."
