IMPERIAL PREFERENCE ISSUE.
Thn Liberal-Unionist Council of Glnegow has adopted Mr Chamberlain's resolution, expressing satisfaction at the action of the Lords in promoting their own reform. It nlso adopted a resolution urging the immediate development of preferential arrangements with thf established oversea Dominions.
Tho House of Commons has adjourned until Monday.
