Tho first round of the Cnnlerbury Lawn Tonnis Association's men c junior inter-club competitions wero pluyed on Saturday niternoon in favourable circumstances, tho weather being fine and tho wind being not too ranch troublesome. The conditions ot the competition wero thnt in the singles anU doubles tbo winners aro tho teams that got tho best of seventeen games. Tbo following aro tho detailed results of tho different games: — AVONSIDE A v. ST. ALBANS B.
