THE N.Z. CONTRIBUTIONS. Mr J. J. Kinsey, representative for the expedition in New Zealand, gave to a "Press" representative yesterday - a list of the contributions which had beon received for the expedition in New Zealand. Five hundred tons of coal Avere required, and the Union Steam Ship Company has given 100 tons, and the Blackball Coal Company. WestportStockton Coal Company, Tyser Lino, Westport Coal Company, Shaw Savill and Albion Company, Federal Houltk*. Company, New Zealand Shipping Com-' pany, and Huddart Parker Company, fifty tons each. The Christchurch Meat Company, Canterbury Frozen Meat Company, and Simms, Cooper and Company havo each contributed twenty carcases of mutton. Mr Richard Evans has given ten carcases, and Mr Duncan Rutherford w ill contribute the frozen beef required. Colonel R. Heaton Rhodes and Messrs Joseph _. Studholme, John Studholme, J. 0. Grigg, A. Macfarlane and T. Teschmaker, .will either contribute frozen meat or the equivalent in cash. Mrs - Townend has given £20 in lieu of frozen mutton.

Borthwick and Soils will give nineteen cases of boiled beef and ex tongues, and Nelson Bros, twelve cam of ox tongues and sheep's tongues. The Gear Company, Wellington, Avill supply twenty cases of preserved meats and fancy goods, and the Wellington Export Company twenty-one cases of boiled, beef and sir cases of tripe and, onions.
