MjE-NTS.
United Prftss Asg-ciation—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received October 29tb, 12.25 a.m.) LONDON, October 28. The "Financial Times" in the course of a review says that apart form politics tho gradual fall in Consols emphasises the extension of tho scope of trustee investments, and more especially an improvement in the credit of foreign countries, notably the United States, the larger South American Republics and Japan. Consuls are now merely "primus inter pares," their merit being weighted against those of Government bonds alt over the world, even against tho highest class railways and industrial stocks.
