SYDENHAM.
The mission at St. Saviour's, Sydenham, opened on Saturday night, when a service of welcome was held, the missioner, the Rev. A. B. Lillingston, giving a short address. Yesterday, at the early morning service, there were a largo number of communicants. At the 11 o'clock service the missioner again 7>reached, his sermon being distinguished by force and eloquence. In the afternoon a men's service was held, and attracted a good attendance. In fiie evening the church was packed to overflowing, all the eeating accommodation usually available, and a number of additional seats, being occupied. The missicner delivered an earnest address on "Judgment, Repentance, and Forgiveness." After, the servico he invited all who court'to stay and hear a eecond address, and in response almost all the congregation remained. At this aftermeeting the missioner .spoke on "The Rescue from Judgment Found in Christ." The sen-ice concluded with the singing of "Jesu, Lover of My Soul."
