The Ne-.v Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Kaipara. and the Federal-Houlder-Shire steamer Fifoshire are both duo this morning from Timaru, to" complete'leadingand cca'ing operations. The Kaipara is to sail on the 31st in.... for London, via Rio de Janeiro and Teneriffe. The Fifeshiro is expected to sail on Monday for Avonmouth and . other West of England ports, via Monte Video. Tlie Blackball Coal Company's steamer Ngahcre, which arrived early yesterday, morning from Greymouth, will coal the Kaipara

to-day. The Petone, which is due late tonight" from Greymoutli, will coal Iho t-ife-shire, and complete coaling the Kaipara. Both colliers are to sail to-morrow night for Greymoutli. Captain S. James, late mnster of Uio Kaka-po, and formerly of the Corinna, has resigned from the Union Company's service. The barque Jessie Craig Mb to proceed phortlv from Molbourno to Hobart, and thence to Port Huon, to load hardwood for New Zealand. The Federal-Houlder-Shire steamer Susms, which left Liverpool on April 2nd, arrived at Adelaide on Sunday. She will leave Sydney on June Ist for Auckland, and is duo at Lvttelton about. June 17th. The Waihorn is to sail 10-day for Timaru to complete discharging, sifw r which she will return to Newcastle to load again for New Zealnnd. 'Die Melbourne Ste-am Ship Company.s collier Melbourne, from . Newcastle, via Tim;:rtt, will arrivo here this morning to discharge the balance of her cargo of coal. She will afterwards go to Hokianga to lead 1,0-10,000 feet of kauri for Sydney.
